Smita Darmora is a Computational Particle Physicst at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) working on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. Her research focuses on new physics phenomena and develops simulation techniques using statistical tools, machine learning, and high performance computing.
Smita completed M. S. in Physics and Ph.D. in Particle Physics at the University of Texas at Arlington. Previously as a Postdoctoral fellow and Adjunct Assistant Professor, she has worked in the Department of Physics at the University of of Teaxs at Arlington.
